Description
The “Imagine Pop Culture Event Concepts” tool is a guided content ideation feature in Contesimal that helps users—such as podcasters, video creators, and digital storytellers—generate strategic content ideas tied to major upcoming pop culture events.
This supports Contesimal’s mission by:
Helping creators organize their ideas around cultural trends.
Offering contextualized concepts based on the creator's content library and audience interests.
Unlocking monetization opportunities by aligning content with high-engagement cultural moments (like awards shows, festivals, etc.).
Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Feature
Step 1: Initiate the Content Creation Task From a Session
From the Complete Task Session screen:
Select “I want to Create Content” when prompted by Contesimal.
This brings up a content goal-oriented menu.
Step 2: Select the Concept Generation Tool
Under the content creation tools menu, select:
“Imagine Pop Culture Event Concepts”
(This is located with other concept ideation tools like Holiday Concepts, Sports Concepts, etc.)
Step 3: Review the AI-Generated Concept List
The system will generate a curated concept list featuring:
A series of major pop culture events (e.g., Academy Awards, Met Gala, Comic-Con, etc.)
For each event, you’ll see two tailored content concepts designed to spark ideas that match your audience interests and content themes.
Each concept includes:
A title
A description of the content angle
Relevance to technology, business, diversity, innovation, or creative process
Step 4: Save and Organize Concepts
Use the tools available in the session UI to:
Save concepts to your April 2025 Default List (or another List).
Click the document icon ? to save a concept as a list item.
Create a Snippet ✂️ to extract sections of interest and store them for reuse or documentation.
Troubleshooting & Solutions
Issue 1: Concepts Don’t Match My Content Style
Cause: The generated concepts are based on your library and audience interests.
Solution: Adjust your audience settings or update your content themes to fine-tune future suggestions. You can also request alternative takes via the "Adjust This Question" button below the concept list.
Issue 2: Missing or Unsaved List Items
Cause: You might forget to manually save ideas.
Solution: Ensure you click the document icon to save each concept to your working list. Use the “Lists” sidebar to verify what has been saved.
Issue 3: Session Navigation Confusion
Cause: Users unfamiliar with navigating sessions and sub-menus.
Solution: Use the left sidebar to move between different task sessions. Look for “April 2025” or any session name you've started.
Issue 4: Snippet Tool Misuse
Cause: Clicking the scissors icon but not seeing where the snippet went.
Solution: Snippets are saved in your “Snippets” panel, accessible via the scissors icon in the top toolbar. You can organize or export them from there.
