The Research My Industry feature in Contesimal is designed to assist users in discovering and gathering valuable industry insights. This feature is particularly helpful for content creators, marketers, and industry analysts who need to keep up with relevant trends, find potential collaborators, or learn from similar content in their field. By utilizing this feature, users can easily find influential people, relevant events, and similar podcasts to inform and enhance their content strategy.
How to Use the Research My Industry Feature
Start a New Session:
Navigate to the Sessions tab in Contesimal.
Click New Session or select an existing session (e.g., March 2025 Session).
Choose Your Main Goal:
Select Complete Task as your session goal.
Choose Research My Industry from the task options.
Select a Specific Research Type:
You will see three options:
List Relevant Social Influencers: Identify key social media influencers related to your field.
List Relevant Events: Find upcoming industry-specific events like conferences and award shows.
Discover Similar Podcasts: Explore podcasts similar to yours to understand competition and gather inspiration.
Generate Insights:
Click on one of the three research options. Contesimal will present a list of results:
Social Influencers: Includes influencer names, follower counts, platforms, and why they are relevant.
Events: Lists upcoming events with dates, categories, and short descriptions.
Podcasts: Shows podcast names, descriptions, and links to their content.
Save and Annotate Results:
Use the Document Icon to save specific results to your list.
Click on the Scissors Icon to cut and save snippets of information.
Add Notations to any item by clicking the Notate Icon to leave comments or reminders.
Use the Binoculars Icon to search for specific keywords within the generated results.
Organize Your Findings:
Use the Content Mixer to group and categorize your results for easy reference.
Export or Share Your Results:
Use the Uploads feature to export your findings or share them with collaborators.
Troubleshooting and Tips
No Results Found:
Check your spelling or try different keywords.
Make sure the industry you are researching has enough relevant data.
Results Not Relevant:
Try refining your search criteria.
Explore different research types (e.g., switch from Social Influencers to Events).
Saving and Annotations Not Working:
Refresh your browser or restart the session.
Check your internet connection.
Content Mixer Not Grouping Properly:
Ensure that your items are correctly tagged or categorized before adding them to the mixer.
