List Past Guests is a feature within the Contesimal platform’s “Complete Task” pathway. It allows users—especially podcasters, content creators, and team members working with episodic or interview-based media—to quickly surface, organize, and summarize previously featured guests from their content library.

This functionality supports Contesimal’s broader mission:

"To help users organize, contextualize, and monetize their content using AI-powered workflows."

By extracting key information like guest names, episode numbers, and summaries, this feature:

  • Speeds up content recaps or lookbacks

  • Supports outreach, planning, and re-engagement with previous guests

  • Prepares accurate marketing materials or highlight reels

  • Provides team-wide visibility into past collaborations


Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Start a Session

  1. From the Contesimal dashboard, click the “Sessions” tab.

  2. Choose an existing session like “April 2025” or click “New Session” to begin.

  3. Inside the session view, type a clear prompt like:

    • “Please help me list past guests”

    • Or use AI suggestions if available


Step 2: AI Responds with a Compiled List

  1. Contesimal’s AI (e.g., ChatGPT 4.0 mini) scans your content and compiles:

    • Guest Name

    • Episode Title and Number

    • Concise Summary of each guest's contribution or focus

  2. The results are shown in a structured, easy-to-read format with numbered entries (see April 2025 session screenshots).


Step 3: Organize the Results

  1. Click the Document icon ? next to any entry to save it as a “List Item”.

    • These saved items go into the right-hand "LISTS" panel for reference or export.

    • E.g., “April 2025 Default List” collects selected guest summaries.

  2. Optionally, use the Scissors icon ✂️ to Snip the full message if you want to reuse or reformat the entire list.


Step 4: Use It!

  1. Now that you’ve compiled your guest list, you can:

    • Export or copy content for publishing

    • Collaborate with team members by tagging or sharing the session

    • Use list content to inform newsletters, web content, social media, etc.
