Description
The Text Documents Import feature within Contesimal allows users to seamlessly upload and ingest written content from their local files directly into the Contesimal content library. This powerful tool transforms standalone documents into indexed, searchable, and AI-ready assets, enabling users to centralize their knowledge base in one intelligent workspace.
By supporting bulk uploads of up to 100 documents in widely used formats such as PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, and SRT, this feature streamlines the process of converting articles, transcripts, and reports into structured, taggable content. For optimal accuracy, each file is processed as a single article, ensuring clean segmentation and reliable analysis.
This capability aligns with Contesimal’s mission to help content creators, business professionals, and researchers organize, contextualize, and extract value from their written materials using advanced AI tools like the Chat Browser and Content Mixer - enabling faster insights, improved collaboration, and the creation of richer, data-driven content experiences.

Troubleshooting Guide
A. File is not uploaded (unsupported format)
Issue: File is not uploaded due to unsupported file format.
Fix: Ensure the file extension is one of the supported formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, SRT.
If the file is in another format (e.g., JPG/PNG/HTML/RTF), convert it to a supported format.
Re-try the upload after conversion.
B. File is not uploaded (file too large)
Issue: The upload is rejected because the file exceeds the maximum allowed size.
Fix: Confirm the file size is 15 MB or less.
Reduce the file size - split the document into multiple smaller files (each ≤ 15 MB).
Re-try the upload after resizing/splitting.
C. The import completes but the document shows a Failed status after processing
Issue: The import completes but the document shows a Failed status during/after processing.
Fix: Ensure the document contains only one article (for accurate processing, each document should contain only one article).
If the file contains multiple articles:
Split it into separate files (one article per file).
Upload/import each file individually.
Re-import the updated file(s) and confirm the status changes from Failed to a successful/processed state.
D. Content Processing Stucks
Issue: File processing stuck for long periods.
Fix:
Wait up to 24 hours.
Try re-uploading smaller batches.
Contact support if delay persists past expected timeframe.
