Description
The Upload Audio Files feature WILL ALLOW users to import individual or grouped audio recordings directly into the Contesimal Uploader. This functionality supports Contesimal’s core mission of helping users organize, contextualize, and monetize their content—especially in audio-rich formats such as podcasts, interviews, or narrated content.
By integrating audio into the platform, users will eventually be able to:
Leverage AI to transcribe and summarize audio.
Organize audio content just like text documents.
Use AI tools to extract insights or even generate monetizable content from voice data.
This feature is labeled as "Coming Soon" and not currently active.
Step-by-Step Guide to Use the Upload Audio Files Feature
(Once released)
Navigate to the Documents Page
From the main navigation menu, go to the Documents section.
Click the Upload Button
Look for the Up Arrow icon, which signifies Upload. Click this to open the Import Content modal window.
Select "Upload Audio Files"
In the modal, scroll to the (Coming Soon) Upload Audio Files section (fourth card down).
Once enabled, this section will likely be clickable and marked with a "Get started" button.
Drag and Drop Files
You’ll be prompted to drag and drop one or more audio files (e.g., .mp3, .wav, etc.) into the uploader space.
A file selection dialog will also be available for manual browsing.
Automatic Processing
After upload, Contesimal’s backend will process the files—transcribing and preparing them for search, analysis, and further AI use.
Progress indicators or file status messages may show up during this stage.
Edit and Organize (Once Uploaded)
Once files are processed, you can:
Click the Pencil icon to edit metadata or title.
Use the Trash can icon to remove an audio file.
