Analyze My Content - Audit My Calls To Action

Modified on Wed, 16 Apr at 7:25 PM

Description

The Audit My Calls To Action feature allows users to analyze how effectively they’re using Calls to Action (CTAs) across their content (e.g. podcast episodes). It evaluates how well CTAs are encouraging listener engagement, such as subscribing, following on social media, or visiting a website. This tool supports Contesimal’s mission by helping users contextualize and monetize their content more strategically, enabling data-backed refinement of audience growth tactics.

This feature delivers:

  • Contextual breakdown of CTA usage.

  • Ranking of most used CTAs.

  • Strategic recommendations for improvement.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Start a New Session

  • Navigate to the Sessions panel.

  • Click “+ New Session” or select an existing session.

  • Select the “Complete Task” option when prompted for your goal.

2. Choose the Task Focus

  • Select “Analyze My Content” from the list of task types.

  • You’ll be asked what you want to do — in this case, the task is to audit your Calls To Action.

3. Ask the Question

  • Type your command or request clearly into the chat box (e.g., “Please help me audit my Calls To Action”).

  • The AI processes your historical podcast content and surfaces a detailed analysis of CTA performance.

4. Review the Assessment

This includes four key sections:

  • Overview of Use – how CTAs are used generally across content.

  • Assessment of CTA Usage – evaluates each CTA type (subscribe, reviews, social, etc.).

  • Ranking of Common CTAs – shows which are used most and least.

  • Recommendations – clear, actionable advice on improving CTA effectiveness.

5. Utilize Session Tools

  • ✂️ Snippets Tool (Scissors Icon): Clip useful sections of the AI response (e.g., improvement tips) for later.

  • ? List Item Tool (Document Icon): Save insights into a structured list (like a task checklist).

6. Organize with Lists

  • On the right sidebar, view and manage the “April 2025 Default List” where your saved list items are stored.

  • Create new lists or rename to organize by themes (e.g., “CTA Fixes” or “Engagement Strategies”).

Troubleshooting & Tips

IssueCauseSolution
No CTAs identifiedThe content hasn’t been analyzed yet or lacks CTA phrasingMake sure the AI has access to your podcast transcripts or summaries. Provide more context in your query.
Misclassification of CTAsVague language or mixed messaging in contentUse clearer, consistent CTA phrasing in your scripts (e.g., “Follow us on Instagram for updates”).
Low actionable insightsOveruse of general CTAsRefer to “Recommendations” in the assessment and focus on specificity and urgency.
Lost or misplaced responsesDidn’t save items as Snippets or to a ListRevisit the session from the left nav panel under April 2025, and save responses post-review.
Missing engagement dataNo analytics connectedWhile Contesimal doesn’t natively ingest analytics yet, use episode notes and performance feedback from hosting platforms to provide insights.
